The Manpower Minister, Mr Lim Swee Say had announced The Manpower Minister, Mr Lim Swee Say had announced in May 2016 on “Adapt and Grow initiative” that helps Singaporeans who are affected by the economic slowdown and restructuring. Under this initiative, Career Support and Re-skilling for Job Programme were created to help defray cost of hiring mature and retrenched Professional-Managerial-Executive (PME) and co-create a Work-Trial system to job match Rank-and-File workers with the hiring companies. While, the Enhanced WorkPro encourages company to make workplaces and jobs more friendly to older workers.
